George Grady.
Private coach to people
who plan to be strong at 80.

I'm George Grady. Sixteen years coaching, forty years in martial arts, and one focused practice: a small private roster of executives, founders, partners, and professionals between 45 and 65 who are done with apps, group classes, and "summer challenges" — and who plan to be strong, mobile, and capable for the next thirty years.
My clients are time-poor. They already earned the career, the company, the family. What they want now is a body that keeps up with the life they built — at 60, 70, 80. That requires a different system than the one being sold to the 25-year-old in the mirror. Heavier where it matters. Slower where it counts. Recoverable. Travel-proof. And coached by a human who knows their lifts, their schedule, and their recovery.
I work with a deliberately small number of private clients each year so that nothing about the coaching is generic. Every program is built for one person — their joints, their calendar, their thirty-year horizon.
A coaching philosophy built for the next thirty years.
Train the future self.
Every session is a deposit you withdraw from at 60, 70, 80 — bone density, tendon resilience, the floor-to-stand.
Heavy enough to count, dosed to last.
Light forever doesn't build the reserve you'll need. Hard forever burns the joints. The right dose, sustained, beats both.
Two well-coached sessions beat six chaotic ones.
My clients run companies and families. The system has to win inside a 45-minute window, in a hotel gym, on a Tuesday.
Boring discipline. Quiet results.
No leaderboards. No challenges. Just the lifts, the logs, and a strength curve that bends up for thirty years.
Who I work with.
Twenty years of building. Now the calendar opens up — and the back, the hips, and the cardio need a serious rebuild before the next chapter.
Senior at the firm. Travels weekly. Wants to be the strongest, most mobile version of themselves at 70 — and is willing to invest like it matters.
Family ski trips, hiking, grandkids on the way. Trains so that the answer is always yes — for the next thirty years of family life.

In the gym.

In the room.
Me under the bar, and me coaching the people I work with. Same standard either way.
Cueing position before load.
Hands-on, eyes on every rep.
Think we might be a fit?
I take on a small number of private clients each year. Four short questions tells me whether we should talk.
